Is there an alternative to Chiropractic?

I think i have a subluxation/misalignment in my back. I heard chiropractors are the only ones that can diagnose and treat this. But i also heard they are very risky. I would say give it a try. Take it for 3 months or so, and if the side effects are unbearable or if it isn't working, you can stop. I currently take 50 mg of Zoloft (sertraline) and I am so happy on it. It has been 9 years now. I don't have any side effects (I may have had some when I first started, I don't remember). I drink about once a week and I have never had any problems with that.

I tried differin before (gel, not cream) and it helped me all through high-school. I hardly ever had breakouts. Once that stopped working I moved on to epiduo. Then that stopped working. My doctor put me on Accutane (highly advise you NOT to try Accutane unless you want dry skin or feel like ****) and that only helped while I was on it. When I stopped it all came back. Last Friday I was bit by a Mosquito. Not really thinking about it a few days passed and My angles began to itch... with that being said it seems that my hands , elbows , and ankles seem to have several bites on them more and tends to show when i wake! We have no signs of bed bugs and my wife has not been bitten , and i clean 2-3 times a week (vacuuming/ dusting/laundry). So my bc is implanon. The hormone implant in my arm. Anyways the first couple months ur period will be irregular and what not and later ur period might stop. This bc is to prevent pregnancy for 3 yrs. After i had gotten it i discovered if u keep it in longer than 3 yrs u can become infertile. I have had it for almost a year now and it has been hell. I was nearly having my period every two weeks if not 3 times a month. I called the doctors and they said its normal the first yr... But im scared that i wont be able to have kids even if i take it out earlier... Im going to get checked to see if i still can and to possible take this out. What do u think about all this? Help?! My hair wont change colour when trying to dye it?

Ok, I just literly like half an hour ago died my hair from light brown to red (well thats what it was sopposed to go.) Not just tinted red a proper red red. And.. About 2 month ago I tried getting my hair to go ash dark blonde from black (I have done it before in the past.) But no.. it went bright ginger. I'm asking this because this has been going on for a while. I've been ill (cold symptoms) on and off for around eight months. My glands went up and down for a while, now they are constantly up. It generally lasts just a few seconds and is followed by a bit of nausia. Some months I may only get one or two. Some months I may get them almost everyday two or three times. Some attacks are worse than others. About three months ago I had a CT Scan that showed slight inflammation of the pancreas, but I have not followed up with my specialist. The fluttering pain is in the middle under my chest bone. Today it was so painful that i instintly went into the fetal position. Then the pain was gone but I can still feel something happened.

Why do police abandon police chases?

Discomfort and pressure in my stomach during pregnancy? (someone please help.)?

Last time I mentioned this on Y!A I was told to go to the hospital which I think is stupid. I'm having mild cramps through out the day (every day) slight occasional pain a few times a week (nothing severe or long lasting) and no bleeding. I let off for a few days, and it seems to have gotten about 50% better... but now my left wrist is hurting too. They both have a slight burn on the outside of my hand. My left hand doesn't hurt from weight, it just slightly aches and slightly burns. My right hand still hurts a little when I put my weight on it, and has the same weird burn or tingle on the top of my hand and wrist. I have full range of motion otherwise, and there are absolutely no tinder spots anywhere. Why does my computer keep track of everything that I do?

My computer keeps track of every web page that I go to. Why? It’s like I have absolutely no privacy whatsoever. The search bar keeps the last search displayed on it. I have to delete it so that it disappears from the display. When I copy and paste pictures to paint, the last four pictures is boldly displayed when I click on the file tab; and there is no way to get rid of it. There is even a recent Item tab on the start menu that keeps a list of everywhere that I’ve been on the web; every document that I’ve written; every picture that I’ve viewed. Now, at least there is a “clear recent item list” that clears everything, but it’s like disarming Germany to go through and clear all of the history on my computer so that I can keep my privacy. I have my computer set that when I close my browser, all of the history is not stored, but that is just for the browser, not all of the other things that keep track of everything. Whenever I ask anybody how to stop my computer from keeping this information, it’s always the same thing. “what are you doing that you don’t want anybody to see” or, “looking at porn, huh”. I have been actively ttc for 6months. My period came early this month. Usually comes on the 18th(ish), it came on the 10th, finished on the 12th. Last week on the 21st, i noticed spotting. Started out very light pink, and was only a little bit whenever i peed. It ended on the 23rd and by that time was sort of brownish, but still not alot. Not even enough to need a panty liner. I had slight cramps during those days..nothing like "period cramps". More like a dull ache around my lower abdomen. A few days after that, i noticed CM with streaks of blood. Only a few times and it went away. And now im having white discharge whenever i pee..sometimes i feel wet, or think i am, but its really just the discharge.. I love well water. For drinking it's great, but a lot of well water is so soft you don't feel like it's rinsing off in the shower. You do eventually get used to it and I know my skin felt a LOT better and my hair was a lot more manageable when we had softer well water. The water pressure is a problem sometimes, but there are remedies for that.....I now live in a suburban area with the hardest water I have ever dealt with. Brief Sickness after Sunbed?

Recently used a sun bed (Well, sun booth, it was one where you stood up)... I was only in for 3 minutes... as it was my first time using a sun bed, and im not planning on using it as a regular thing, just to take the edge of the white glow for summer low, so that i have a slight 'slow'. After i got out and got dressed,about 5 minutes later i felt really really sick, however, within a minute or two it passed? What are the chances of this being related to the sun bed or being related to something else? (At the moment im experimenting with some food intolerances i might have, so could be linked to that?) Or is it likely to be not drinking enough before i used it, eating to soon before i used it, or that my body just doesnt like it? Yeast Infection Got Worse - I Think?

First, I am 7 months pregnant. I went to my doctor and found out I had a bad yeast infection (which she said is very common when you are pregnant). She told me to use Monistat but she didnt tell me what kind to use. So I went to the drug store and they didnt have Monistat they only had the cream but they did have Vagisil 1 day treatment. I have used Vagisil before so I thought it would be okay to use, as they all have the same ingredients. Now when I say "bad" I dont mean my vagina was leaking yeast or anything but it was bad (very itchy, slight swollen, burning, slight cuts) so it wasnt fun. I took the first dose last night before bed like the instructions said. I woke up this morning and it wasnt burning at all and the itch had sort of subsided. So I was very pleased. I still put on a panty liner because I didnt want any of the treatment to leak on my pants or panties. I went to the bathroom about 4 hours later and I wiped after urinating and the whole toilet paper was filled with the cottage cheese type infection. Does that mean the treatment is pushing the yeast out, or has this gotten so much worse overnight. I have never in life seen it that bad. I inserted my finger just to check to see and my finger was covered with yeast (sorry so graphic but I want you to get the picture of what I am saying so I can get some help). Before I go to my doctor, which is very uncomfortable getting a pap smear while pregnant and with a sore vagina, should I try the 3 day or 7 day treatment or give this a few days to clear up? I am very concerned because I have never seen that much discharge in my life -- especially not coming from me. What should I do?

If you look back and look around you may rarely see light brown or even lighter complected black men with whites. Two positives and one negative?

I'm so confused. I took an equate pregnancy test on sunday and it came back positive almost instantly. I was in doubt so I bought two answers tests but I messed them up because I didn't pee on them that well, so I just ignored them and went to planned parenthood today and they tested me negative. They said their tests were 98% accurate while the one I took was 99% accurate. They said it could be because of ovulation that I got a false positive, I bought another test thinking that if that came back negative if I wasn't pregnant this one would too and I wanted to be sure. I took another equate (low on money) and it came up positive almost as fast as the other one did. I did so much research on the internet and they said that usually doctor tests check for higher levels of hormones, while the low brand tests test lower amounts of hcg. I have symptoms of being pregnant. I had light bleeding, slight cramps, strange cravings, heightened sense of smell, frequent urination, and tiredness. I read that ovulation only lasts 24-36 hours so I waited till wednesday to take another test and I'm just so confused I don't know what to do. I looked up the sensitivity of various tests and the equate measures 25 while other brands list 50 to 100 so I'm not sure what to think. Do you think I could be pregnant? I'm not on any hormones by the way.

Preparing the soil and garden for planting?

I moved into a new house last winter and was delighted to hear it had a huge garden in the backyard. Unfortunately, once the snow melted I was disappointed to find it in awful shape. ATTENTION CHEMISTS! Good lab practices?

I am taking a college organic chemistry laboratory class. Today in lab we were given an unknown solid (crystal) organic substance to test in various ways. Then we were given 7 known substances to test as well to figure out which one of these our unknown was. Once we thought we figured out our unknown, we tested that known chemical in the exact same tests as we did with our unknown. We got all the same results. This obviously confirms they are the same substance (we did IR spectroscopy, for one.) But then our professor told us to MIX our known and unknown together and repeat all these tests again. That was very strange to me. Why would we do that once we had already confirmed that they are the same? It's redundant. And also, isn't it bad lab practice to mix an unknown with other substances just to test to see if they are the same? Even if this showed we didn't have the right identification of our unknown, it would give us less information than testing them side by side, and for another thing it's DANGEROUS. What if they weren't the same and they reacted together? Especially since in some tests we add heat (melting point)!! Am I right in thinking these things? Has anyone else done this or heard of these practices?
