Can anyone suggest a series for me?

i am looking for a new series my favorite series is the game of thrones, so maybe something similar to that- why that series appeals to me is you read in so many different characters, and they grow so much during the book. You read from the good, the bad and the ugly, point of view, what i dont want is another cliche boy finds out he is special and saves the world from the most powerful villain in the land and also gets the girl while he is at it. I am tired of the goody goody, lets disarm instead of kill the people who are going to kill us (harry potter) type characters.
