Does he like me or are we just friends ?

So we met last summer at a summer camp. We didnt really talk much, but whenever we see each other we'd smile and wave. Then later in the year he started going to my school. We didnt have any classes together. We would see each other in the hallway. At first he would just say hey or wave but, later in the year he started grabbing me by my waist. Now this summer at camp at first all he did was say hi, but now he asks for a hug whenever i see him. Sometimes i see him looking at me in the hallway when im talking to my friends... So am i just overthinking this ir does he like me ?
