Bar fight with a gun pulled on me?

ok loooong story short, i was at the bar with my buddies and i got appraoched by a very intoxicated guy that started to argue with me and he ends up pulling a gun on me and needless to say he was takin down and disarmed and got banged up pretty bad and now i have to go to court and testify against him and im kinda worried about some kind of assault & battery, or maiming, or malicious wounding charge being put on me... is this likely ?? now before you answer take this into consideration, we were in a BAR, he was extremely INTOXICATED, in was CONCEALED, and he BRANDISHED it on me, i guess as a intimidation purpose...also im a witness for the state attorney, is it likely she will pursue charges on me also ? and if she dont will he be able to press charges on me ? I believe this is a clear cut case of self defense...thanks, please no nonsense answers this is a serious question
