FedEx 705 DC10 Mach 1 - Sonic Boom?

FedEx Flight 705 (Wikipedia / Google it for more information) was a flight that was hijacked by a member of the FedEx crew. Basically, throughout the "ordeal" the F/Officer made several manouevers to disarm the hijacker - the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 actually travelled past Mach 1. Would it have had a sonic boom?
