What should I do about a resting heart rate of 110-140?

You could just start out by walking at a pace that is below the point where you start to get out of breath and see what your pulse is at this level of exercise. If your pulse is 200 or less while exercising, you are still within the normal target range. If exercising pushes you above 200, it might be a good idea to make an appointment with your GP to see about taking a drug to lower the pulse rate.
